Our must see speakers at this years Casual Dining Show

The casual dining sector is big business in the UK and this week it’s set to get even bigger. This February (24th & 25th) Bizimply are attending the Casual Dining Show in the Business Design Centre, London.

The multi-award winning two-day trade show is expected to attract over four thousand key buyers and decision makers from many of the country’s biggest casual dining pub groups and restaurant chains, hotels, contract caterers, and independent operators.

There are some superb speakers lined up for this two day event.
Here are our 3 must see speakers for each day which will be at the Casual Dining Keynote Theatre.

Day 1 – 24th Feb.

    • David McDowall – MD of Bars – BrewDog
      11.45 – 12.15
      BrewDog is a trailblazing Scottish craft brewery. It was one of the first breweries in Britain to pioneer a new wave of hoppy, American-style “craft” beers. in 2007 they started off with just two employees and a dog, in 2016 they have over 540 employees with 44 bars and are currently looking to take on the US with BrewDog Columbus.

 

    • Mark McQuater- Chief Executive – Revolution Bars Group
      14.45 – 15.15
      Revolution Bars Group is a leading operator of premium bars, with a strong national presence across the UK. Currently, they have a trading portfolio of 57 bars located predominantly in town or city high streets which operate under the Revolution and Revolución de Cuba brands. Revolution Bars combine both a food-led and drinks-led offering.

 

    • Keith Bird – Chief Operating Officer – Gourmet Burger Kitchen
      16.15 – 16.45
      The company was started in London in 2001.GBK is known for its large burgers, fresh produce and casual service style. The initial success of the restaurant led to further openings across London. In 2010 the restaurant chain was sold to Capricorn Ventures. GBK expanded to 60 restaurants across the UK, and has plans to continue growing. Franchises operate in Ireland, Dubai, Greece and Oman.

 

Day 2 – 25th Feb.

    • Jamie Campbell – Director – CGA Peach
      10.15 – 10.45
      CGA Peach is an innovative business intelligence and networking business. It provides unique research, analysis, insight and market access in the UK eating and drinking-out market.

 

    • Paul Pavli – Operations Director – Punch Taverns
      15.30 – 16.00
      Punch is one of the UK’s leading companies if you are looking for pub tenancy. Punch was formed in 1997 and now has a nationwide portfolio of around 3,300 pubs.

 

    • David Campbell – Chief Executive – Wagamama
      16.15 – 16.45
      Wagamama began in 1992, when they opened their first restaurant in Bloomsbury, London. They offer customers the kind of fresh, fast food and relaxed atmosphere you get in Japanese noodle bars. The Japanese inspired restaurant now spans over 17 countries worldwide.
