Bizimply at Casual Dining 2017

The casual dining sector is big business in the UK and this is set to get even bigger. Also this year, Bizimply will be attending the Casual Dining Show on 22nd & 23rd February in the Business Design Centre, London
Bigger and better: As in the previous year, the multi-award winning trade show is expected to attract thousands of  key buyers and decision makers from many of the country’s biggest casual dining pub groups and restaurant chains, hotels, contract caterers, and independent operators.
There are some fantastic speakers lined up for this two day event.
Here are our 3 must see speakers for each day which will be at the Casual Dining Keynote Theatre.

Day 1 – 22nd Feb

  • Peter Backman, Managing Director @Horizon
    10.15 am – 10.45 am
    Home delivery from restaurants and pubs has become increasingly popular in recent years . Peter will look at this development and how margins are being affected. He’ll also take a look into the future to see how delivery might further disrupt the casual dining sector.
  • Peter Martin interviews Neil Rankin – Director @Temper Restaurants
    12.30pm – 1.00 pm
    Neil Rankin speaks to Peter Martin about launching his new restaurant in Soho, Temper. Neil will discuss the challenges and successes with site finding, sustainability, meat, tacos and design amongst other things. Make sure you don’t miss it!
  • Mark Fox- Chief Executive @ Bill’s
    2.45 pm – 3.15 pm
    Mark Fox discusses how the need to continue to grow your business has never been greater and yet it’s not always obvious what levers to pull. However, many of the answers to these seemingly imponderable challenges are right there inside your own business – all you have to know is where to look.

 

Day 2 – 23rd Feb

  • Simon Stenning – Executive Director @ MCA
    10.15 am – 10.45 am
    Simon Stenning, Executive Director of leading Eating and Drinking insight experts MCA, looks at the competitive situation across the total Eating Out Market; with growth forecasts for 2017 and insight on sectors, operators and consumers. Not to be missed.
  • Karen Forrester – Chief Executive @ TGI Fridays
    11.45 am – 12.15 pm
    In this unmissable session, Karen (CEO, TGI Fridays) looks at the importance of going back to basics to recognise and love the things that made your brand great in the first place. Hear the story of Karen visiting every Fridays restaurant in the UK, joining up the managers ideas to deliver the promise of ‘In here it’s always Friday’, and the renewed focus on ‘Fridays People, serving Fridays food in Fridays restaurants’ and how this has led to superior guest satisfaction and growth.
  • Paul Charity interviews Bob Ivell – Non-Executive Chairman @ Mitchells & Butler PLC 
    4.15 pm – 4.45 pm
    Bob Ivell, one of the sector’s most respected leaders will be answering questions about M&B, management and on what the future holds for the sector. He’ll also be looking back across his 30 years of extensive food and beverage experience in food-led, managed restaurants and pubs for Whitbread and The Restaurant Group amongst others.
